Part 1: Your Cycle’s Seasons

For 20 years, we’ve brought you nutrient-dense superfoods and crafted functional nutritional blends tailored to the body’s needs. Energy. Immunity. Focus. Sleep. But there’s been another conversation happening quietly in the background.

Over the years, we’ve been approached by more and more women about hormone health; we’ve observed fertility concerns; we’ve been shocked by hormonal imbalances becoming more prevalent, and all the while we’ve become more aware of what a woman’s body needs.

We are more in tune with our cycles and our body’s unique needs now than ever before. Yet media isn’t sharing the new revelations, and the market hasn’t caught up to support the findings.

Here’s what we’d love to share with you today … and spoiler alert, we’ve already got a solution launching next month 🤫.

As a woman, we’ve been told our cycle is roughly 28 days. You ovulate, and then you menstruate. But no one talks about the changes occurring in your body during that period and how your body’s needs change.

Our cycle is not singular – it has four distinct seasons and two distinct needs.

You are not the same person on day 5 of your cycle as you are on day 20 – neither are your body’s needs. Your energy is different. Your focus is different. What your body needs to eat, how it responds to stress, how much rest it desires – all of it shifts, phase by phase, across the month. This isn’t inconsistency. It’s your cycle doing exactly what it’s designed to do.

Here’s Your Cycle Explained:

Take this moment to understand what your body is going through during each cycle.

The Cycle Phases

Menstrual – Winter
Your body is asking to slow down. This is not weakness. Oestrogen and progesterone are at their lowest, your immune system is working harder, and your body is doing one of the most energetically expensive things it does all month. Rest here isn’t indulgence. It’s the right response to what’s actually happening.

Follicular – Spring
Oestrogen begins to rise and with it, everything lifts. Energy returns, motivation sharpens, new ideas feel possible again. This is your window for starting things: new projects, harder conversations, bigger decisions. Your brain is literally more receptive to new information in this phase.

Ovulation – Summer
Peak oestrogen. Peak energy. Peak output. You’re more articulate, more magnetic, more capable of doing the hard things. Most of us have spent our whole lives unconsciously scheduling everything important for this window and then wondering why the other three weeks feel harder. They’re supposed to feel different. Not worse. Different.

Luteal – Autumn
The slow return. Progesterone rises, oestrogen falls, and your body shifts from output to restoration. Focus narrows. Social energy quiets. This is not your body failing you; it’s your body asking you to finish things rather than start them. To nourish, not perform. What it needs here – nutritionally, emotionally, physically – is completely different to what it needed two weeks ago.

When you understand this, nothing about how you feel is random anymore.

We’ve been longing to share this conversation for a long time.

For now, we’re planting the seed of seasons in your cycle. Next, we’ll dive into the two distinct needs of a woman’s body in the reproductive years.

Stay tuned. 🌿
